Memorial has gone 6-1 against Cypress Ridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mustangs will welcome the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Memorial will be strutting in after a victory while Cypress Ridge will be coming in after a defeat.

Memorial will bounce into Friday's game after beating Cypress Falls, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Mustangs came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 33-21 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Memorial's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kade Gulledge, who rushed for 61 yards and two TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of Myles Goebel, who picked up 115 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Cypress Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 45-20 to Cy-Fair. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-7.

Cypress Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Memorial took their victory against Cypress Ridge in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 34-14 score. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
