Morgan waltzed into their matchup on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the American Leadership Academy Eagles as they made off with a 17-8 win. Considering the Trojans have won seven games by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Kanyon Leonelli was a standout: he scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Venz, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.

Morgan's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for American Leadership Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Morgan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-1 defeat against Union on the 8th. As for American Leadership Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 7-0 loss against Juab on the 9th.
