Soccer Game Preview: Hazen vs. Lake Stevens

The Hazen Highlanders will head out to challenge the Lake Stevens Vikings at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hazen will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Hazen will bounce into Saturday's game after beating Issaquah, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Highlanders came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. That's two games straight that Hazen have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Lake Stevens made sure to put some goals up on the board against Mariner on Tuesday. They blew past the Marauders 4-1. The result was nothing new for Lake Stevens, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Hazen pushed their record up to 16-0-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six games. As for Lake Stevens, they moved to 12-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
