Jenica Silvas made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played.
In other batting news, Mariah Coriaarmenta was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jada Lampkin, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Twentynine Palms was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are a perfect 11-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matchups, Indio finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against Aquinas, falling 12-1. The Rajahs' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
