Volleyball Recap: Corsica/Stickney Victorious + How To Watch

Corsica/Stickney proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Freeman Flyers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jaguars have posted since September 4th.

Corsica/Stickney took Freeman into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-13, 26-28, 21-25, 15-11.

Cali Vanden Hoek was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 27 digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Remi Nelson, who had 18 assists and three digs.

Corsica/Stickney's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Freeman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-8 record this season.

Corsica/Stickney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Northwestern Area on the 11th. Freeman has also already played their next contest (against Oldham-Ramona/R), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
