Soccer Recap: Declo Comes Up Short

Declo lost against Minico back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hornets lost 5-1 to the Spartans.

Declo's goal came courtesy of Eduardo Rios, which was the first he's scored this season.

Declo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Minico, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Declo will welcome Buhl at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Declo are facing Buhl at the right time seeing as Buhl are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Minico, they will challenge Mountain Home at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Minico will be up against Mountain Home's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.88 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
