Softball Recap: Cornell Raiders vs. Rochester Rams
Sadly, Cornell is still looking for their first win of the season after five matchups. They suffered a rough 21-5 loss at the hands of the Rochester Rams on Monday. One positive for Cornell, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Cornell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gianna Gracyk, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
Cornell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Rochester, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Cornell will head out on the road to challenge Sewickley Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rochester, they will take on Northgate at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rochester is facing Northgate at the right time seeing as Northgate is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
