Volleyball Recap: West Elk Comes Up Short

West Elk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Saturday.

West Elk's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

West Elk has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Northeast on the 20th. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Argonia on the 16th.
