Las Cruces dropped their record down to 15-4 on Thursday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They lost 10-4 to the Organ Mountain Knights. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bulldawgs, who until this game were averaging 3.58 runs allowed.

Armando Gonzalez was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.

On the hitting side, Xander Parra was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Borunda, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

As for Organ Mountain, they pushed their record up to 13-5-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

On Organ Mountain's side, they got a great performance from Gera Delgado as he struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk). Those 12 strikeouts gave Delgado a new career-high.

At the plate, Osvaldo Arras was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Sean Estenson was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one triple.

While Las Cruces had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
