Recap: Riverview Sharks vs. Strawberry Crest Chargers

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Riverview Sharks had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They strolled past the Chargers with points to spare, taking the game 72-54. Riverview's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

It was another big night for Bryson Kearney, who scored 32 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Gilroy, who scored nine points.

Several Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maximus von Ancken, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hunter Hall, who scored 13 points along with two steals.

Riverview's victory bumped their record up to 4-18. As for Strawberry Crest, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-22 record this season.

Riverview will head out on the road to face off against Sumner at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Riverview is coming into the matchup with five straight wins on the road, meaning Sumner will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. Strawberry Crest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
