Baseball Recap: Maranacook Falls to Kents Hill School in First Game of Season

Maranacook had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Kents Hill School Huskies by a score of 4-3 on Friday.

Kents Hill School has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maranacook will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mountain Valley at 11:00 a.m. on the 23rd. The contest will give the Black Bears their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Kents Hill School, they will face off against Freeport at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
