Football Recap: Williams Skates Past Red Rock with Ease

Williams's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 58-6 win over the Red Rock Scorpions. Considering the Vikings have won three matchups by more than 45 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Leading Williams to victory were Anthony Soto and Mario Pedraza. Soto rushed for 99 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries, while Pedraza rushed for 62 yards and two TDs. Those 99 rushing yards gave Soto a new career-high.

Williams didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Soto and Pedraza. Pedraza got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Williams now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Red Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Williams will challenge Hayden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Lobos have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Red Rock, they will take on Mohave Accelerated at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Scorpions surely won't give up without a fight.
