Basketball Recap: Maple Lake Comes Up Short

Maple Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 76-63 to the North Lakes Academy Huskies. The Irish were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Maple Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for North Lakes Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maple Lake will head out to challenge Kimball at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Lakes Academy, they will face off against Lakes International Language Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
