Southside Christian extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Luca Preciado. The Warriors came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 51-45 W against the Neuse Christian Academy Lions for which the team can thank Preciado, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 12 boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Southside Christian's points.

Despite the loss, Neuse Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Carter Brown, who went 7-for-16 en route to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Davis, who posted eight points.

Southside Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Neuse Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Southside Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 76-54 defeat against DASH on the 18th. As for Neuse Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-30 victory against Kerr-Vance Academy on the 18th.
