Decatur Community had to endure a seven-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Logan/Palco on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Red Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Maria Rodriguez paced Decatur Community's offense, picking up ten kills. Rodriguez got some help from Jori Fortin and her 13 assists. Rodriguez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Decatur Community's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Logan/Palco, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Decatur Community will challenge Southwest on Tuesday. As for Logan/Palco, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lakeside on the 27th.
