Football Recap: Wray Snags Third Win in Last Four Games

Wray won the last time they faced Yuma and Austin Collins did his part to make sure it happened again. The Eagles really took it to the Outlaws for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-13 win for which the team can thank Collins, who rushed for 208 yards and three scores on only 15 carries, and also threw for 167 yards and a pair of touchdowns. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 105.3 rushing yards per game.

Another player making a difference was Wyatt Fonte, who picked up 112 receiving yards and one TD. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 56 yards.

Despite the loss, Yuma still got an impressive performance from Iann Duran, who rushed for 134 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 carries.

Wray has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.5 points over those games. As for Yuma, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
