Preview: Kamehameha Hawai'i Warriors vs. San Marcos Knights

The Kamehameha Hawai'i Warriors and the San Marcos Knights will round out the year against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Kamehameha Hawai'i came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Waiakea 68-36 at home.

Meanwhile, even though Sage Creek scored an imposing 57 points last Saturday, San Marcos still came out on top. San Marcos blew past Sage Creek 89-57 at home. Winning may never get old, but San Marcos sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

San Marcos found their leader in underclassman Richie Ramirez, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten assists. The matchup was Ramirez's 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elias Flaim, who scored 20 points.

Kamehameha Hawai'i's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for San Marcos, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.
