Softball Recap: West County Bulldogs vs. Houston Tigers
After a string of four wins, West County's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Houston Tigers by a score of 4-3.
For Houston's part, Lilly Kincaid was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Kincaid was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Makinley Aaron was incredible, going 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, and a run.
West County's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-9. As for Houston, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.
