North Boone and Rock Falls are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the Rockets at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rock Falls took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on North Boone, who comes in off a win.

North Boone's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over Dixon. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Meanwhile, Rock Falls unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against Sterling, falling 12-2.

Rock Falls saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoey Silva, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run. Abi Skibinskie also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

North Boone's win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Rock Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-19.

Everything went North Boone's way against Rock Falls in their previous meeting back in April, as North Boone made off with a 13-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
