Volleyball Game Preview: Trinidad Miners vs. Sierra Grande Panthers + How To Watch

The Trinidad Miners will head out to challenge the Sierra Grande Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Trinidad is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Trinidad came up short against Swallows Charter Academy and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-22, 12-25, 25-13.

Despite the loss, Trinidad got top-tier performance from Alicia Barron, who had 25 digs.

Sierra Grande not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since August 23rd (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Kim/Branson as they made off with a 3-0 win. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Mustangs on their court since September 18, 2015.

While Sierra Grande won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-7, 25-23.

Sierra Grande's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Trinidad, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Trinidad couldn't quite get it done against Sierra Grande in their previous meeting back in August as they fell 2-0. Can the Miners avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
