Soccer Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while Lee-Scott Academy are ranked 47th).

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Valley is taking a road trip to square off against Elmore County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Alabama Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
