League recap: Hatboro-Horsham winning streak up to 13 games

Hatboro-Horsham (19-3, 12-2) has won 13 games in a row, Suburban One - Continental's longest active win streak. Two of those wins came in the past week, including an 8-7 win over Downingtown West. Casey Saverio led the lineup this week with six hits and two RBIs.

After a week in which it went 3-0, Central Bucks South jumped from 871 to 625 in the national rankings, the biggest increase in the league. The Titans are currently No. 11 in the state of Pennsylvania, with an overall record of 13-6.

The Hatters' pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 19 hits and 12 walks to lead the league in both categories. Hatboro-Horsham has given up a mere 110 hits on the year, while striking out 149 opposing hitters. Zach Prendergast is the leader in that category with 47 Ks on the season.
