Northern Garrett entered their tilt with East Fairmont on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Bees. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Devin McKenzie was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Liam Stewart was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Northern Garrett kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive matches.

Northern Garrett pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for East Fairmont, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6.

Northern Garrett didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-4 victory against Lincoln on the 19th. As for East Fairmont, they will challenge Bridgeport at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
