Softball Game Preview: Knox Central Panthers vs. Leslie County Eagles

Knox Central is 0-3 against Leslie County since March of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Knox Central Panthers will head out to take on the Leslie County Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Knox Central is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Whitley County on Tuesday. They came up short against the Colonels, falling 7-0. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Leslie County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 8-3 to Harlan County.

Leslie County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Knox Central, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
