Foard won against Statesville last Tuesday with 21 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Foard Tigers blew past the Statesville Greyhounds 21-1. With that victory, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 7.8 runs per game.
Karsyn Sigmon was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Rhoney, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-2.
