Football Recap: Runge Starts off Right with Win over Annapolis Christian Academy

Runge had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 50-32 win over the Annapolis Christian Academy Warriors. This was payback for the Yellowjackets, who suffered a 46-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

One reason for the win was Runge's imposing defensive line, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. BJ Naranjo was especially locked on to Annapolis Christian Academy's QB and sacked him twice.

Runge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 68-18 victory against Texas Christian on the 4th. As for Annapolis Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 55-14 win against Coastal Christian HomeSchool on the 5th.
