Softball Recap: St. Paul Catholic Falls Short Against Ranked North Branford

St. Paul Catholic faced North Branford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Sunday. The Falcons fell just short of the Thunderbirds by a score of 4-2. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunderbirds apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

St. Paul Catholic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julia Kozlak, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

With the defeat, St. Paul Catholic broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 26-4. As for North Branford, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-1.
