Preview: North Penn Knights vs. Central Bucks West Bucks
The North Penn Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Central Bucks West Bucks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Penn will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 356th, while Central Bucks West is ranked 68th).
Last Tuesday, North Penn earned a 53-41 victory over Pennridge. The victory made it back-to-back wins for North Penn.
Meanwhile, Central Bucks West scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They managed a 67-61 victory over Central Bucks East. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
North Penn's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9. As for Central Bucks West, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
North Penn couldn't quite finish off Central Bucks West in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 and fell 47-45. Can North Penn avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
