Baseball Game Preview: American Patriots vs. Northeast Hurricanes

The American Patriots will take on the Northeast Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. American has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for American's offense. They lost 15-0 to St. Brendan on Thursday. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Sabres recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeast). They were the clear victors by a 19-1 margin over Hollywood Hills on Thursday. The Hurricanes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by nine runs or more this season.

Northeast has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for American, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
