Baseball Recap: Bishop O'dowd Starts Season with Win on the Road

Bishop O'Dowd had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons 10-4. The win continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Peregrine Falcons: they've now won four in a row.

Leo Schwartz looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Rashad Hayes was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two). Another player making a difference was John Teti, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop O'Dowd will challenge McClatchy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. McClatchy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bishop O'Dowd surely won't give up without a fight. As for Archie Williams, they will square off against Petaluma at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
