Softball Recap: Park Hill Trojans vs. North Kansas City Hornets        
        
		
             Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Park Hill). They put the hurt on the North Kansas City Hornets with a sharp  19-2 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won three contests by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
  Autumn Bridges made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Bridges was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Brooklyn Bertoncino and  Mandia Bock did most of the damage at the plate:  Bertoncino  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs, and a  triple, while  Bock  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, four  RBI, and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Allison Gonier, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Park Hill  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .611. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 The  win (which was Park Hill's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. As for North Kansas City, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Park Hill will host Central  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Park Hill's pitching crew has only allowed three  runs per game  this season, so Central's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for North Kansas City, they will look to defend their home field  on Wednesday against Raytown  at 4:00  p.m.
