They were just one part of a punishing run game: Union County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 222 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hancock County only rushed for 102.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 44-17, which was the final score in Hopkins County Central's tilt against Russellville on Friday.

Hopkins County Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-4-1 record this season. As for Union County, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
