Baseball Recap: Morristown-Hamblen East Victorious

Morristown-Hamblen East won the last time they faced Campbell County and things went their way on Friday too. The Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Campbell County Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hurricanes.

Landry Winstead was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Luke Miracle also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Morristown-Hamblen East's win bumped their record up to 3-6-1. As for Campbell County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Morristown-Hamblen East will head out to take on Jefferson County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Campbell County, they will be playing at home against Van Buren County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
