Softball Recap: Hug Takes a Loss

Hug's last matchup with South Tahoe could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Hawks came up short against the Vikings, falling 27-7. The loss continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost five in a row.

Hug saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlyn De La Torre Jackson, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Hug's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for South Tahoe, their record is now 7-13.

While Hug had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
