Ipswich barely beat North Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Thunder on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
One reason for the win was Ipswich's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 29-27, 26-24, 25-14.
Camryn Witlock and Amree VanderVorst certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Witlock had ten assists and eight digs, while VanderVorst had 12 digs and nine kills. VanderVorst has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 50 times she's played.
Ipswich's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for North Central, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 14-7.
Coming up, Ipswich will head out to challenge Gettysburg at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Leola/Frederick at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
