Game recap: North Gwinnett High School Football Team defeats McEachern

SUWANEE, Ga. - North Gwinnett (Suwanee, Ga.) saw its 13-point lead dwindle to six, but still managed to hang on and upset McEachern (Powder Springs, Ga.) 27-21 on Saturday.

The Bulldogs led 14-7 at halftime, but the Indians recaptured the lead on a touchdown with 8:00 left in the third. North Gwinnett finally took the lead for the win when C.J. Leggett ran for a touchdown with 3:00 to go in the third quarter.

Both teams scored seven points in the third quarter, so the margin remained at seven entering the fourth.

The loss comes after McEachern defeated Collins Hill 35-32 last week. The loss snapped McEachern's three-game winning streak.
