St. Patrick has gone a perfect 10-0 against Saranac recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The St. Patrick Shamrocks will square off against the Saranac Redhawks at 7:00 p.m. St. Patrick has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Friday, St. Patrick made easy work of Perry and carried off a 45-23 win. The Shamrocks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Saranac was beaten by Laingsburg 53-24 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Redhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 500th, while the Wolfpack are ranked 215th).

St. Patrick is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.6 points over those games. As for Saranac, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-13.

Everything came up roses for St. Patrick against Saranac when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 60-26 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Patrick since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
