Volleyball Recap: Analy's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Analy had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sonoma Valley Dragons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Analy didn't let Sonoma Valley take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-22, 25-22.

Alakai Cole paced Analy's offense, picking up 14 kills. Cole got some help from Bryce Williams and his 26 assists. Maddox Bray controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Sonoma Valley still got an impressive performance from Tristan Estrada, who had eight digs and five aces. Melchor Alcaraz also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Analy pushed their record up to 20-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Sonoma Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Analy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Cardinal Newman on the 24th. As for Sonoma Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against American Canyon on the 24th.
