Pioneer entered their tilt with Rodriguez on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Mustangs 9-2. Considering the Patriots have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jia Beebe spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on ten hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Sofia Hernandez, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and one double while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Marisa Bryson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Pioneer hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive matchups.

Pioneer pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Rodriguez, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Pioneer didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-2 victory against Dixon on the 18th. As for Rodriguez, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-2 loss against Vacaville on the 18th.
