Softball Recap: Cahokia Comes Up Short

Cahokia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 33rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Collinsville Kahoks, falling 16-0.

Cahokia's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Collinsville, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-16.

Cahokia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Collinsville, they will welcome Granite City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.57 runs per game on average), something the Kahoks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
