Penn Hills played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Woodland Hills Wolverines 41-7. The Indians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-0.

Penn Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Woodland Hills, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Penn Hills and Woodland Hills could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Indians will take on North Allegheny at 7:35 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (87 vs. 10). Meanwhile, Woodland Hills (ranked 61st) will meet Central Catholic (ranked seventh) at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
