Volleyball Recap: Grace Christian School's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Grace Christian School lost against Saint Gertrude back in October of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Kings fell 3-1 to the Gators. The Kings' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Grace Christian School was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Saint Gertrude work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 26-24, 24-26, 25-12.

Caroline Hardy paced Grace Christian School's offense, picking up 17 kills. Hardy got some help from Savannah Duda and her 22 assists. Hardy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Grace Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 22-8. As for Saint Gertrude, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Grace Christian School will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Michael the Archangel at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Saint Gertrude does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
