If Alta Loma wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Summit, they should've done a better job of containing Hannah Reyes. The SkyHawks won by a set and slipped past the Braves 3-2 thanks in part to Reyes, who had 13 digs and five aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 15 times she's played.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Summit got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 17-25, 25-21, 22-25, 15-8.

Summit's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Alta Loma, they moved to 4-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summit will welcome Colony at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alta Loma, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Claremont at 4:45 p.m.
