The Indian Creek Timberwolves will head out on the road to square off against the Byron Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Byron took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Indian Creek, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Indian Creek was able to grind out a solid victory over Rochelle, taking the game 6-2. The win was just what Indian Creek needed coming off of a 28-0 loss in their prior game.
The team relied heavily on Gretta Oziah, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Emily Frazier, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, Byron suffered a rough 11-2 defeat at the hands of Jefferson on Friday.
The victory got Indian Creek back to even at 3-3. As for Byron, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
