Baseball Recap: Pompano Beach Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pompano Beach can now relate to. They fell just short of the Calvary Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Golden Tornadoes haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Pompano Beach's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Calvary Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-10.

Pompano Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will square off against Cardinal Gibbons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
