Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Liberty-Benton's 14th in Last 15 Outings

Liberty-Benton saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 57-50 victory over the Edison Chargers. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Chargers are ranked 601st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Liberty-Benton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season. Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.

As of now, neither Liberty-Benton nor Edison have any future games scheduled.
