Basketball Recap: Rossview Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Rossview won the last time they faced Northeast and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rossview Hawks blew past the Northeast Eagles 54-29. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Eagles are ranked 342nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rossview's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Northeast, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Coincidentally, Rossview and Northeast will both be playing Kirkwood the next time they take the court. Northeast will host Kirkwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Rossview will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
