Baseball Recap: Dracut Takes a Loss

Dracut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Billerica Memorial Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Middies of the 10-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Dracut's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Billerica Memorial, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dracut will welcome Tewksbury Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Billerica Memorial, they will square off against Concord-Carlisle at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Indians are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
