Bishop Hartley has gone a perfect 5-0 against Centennial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Hawks will take on the Stars in a tournament on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Bishop Hartley fell victim to Jonathan Alder and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Hawks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Centennial entered their contest against Whetstone on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Stars lost 13-4 to the Braves. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Stars have suffered against the Braves since April 14, 2022.

Centennial saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Barnes, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Barnes is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Jayden Hammond was another, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Bishop Hartley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-12.
