Softball Recap: Klahowya Falls Short of Cedar Park Christian in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Klahowya can now relate to. They fell just short of Cedar Park Christian by a score of 4-3 on Friday. Klahowya's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Brooklyn Hart was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she struck out 13 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Hart wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Mckenna Sullivan, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Klahowya's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10-1. As for Cedar Park Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Klahowya nor Cedar Park Christian have any future games scheduled.
